[origin: WO2020089092A1] The present disclosure relates to an aerosol-forming article (e.g. a smoking substitute article such as an HNB consumable) comprising an aerosol-forming substrate and a terminal filter element at a downstream axial end of the article. The article further comprises a spacer element interposed between the substrate and the terminal filter element. The spacer element is at least partly lined with a heat reflective material.
