[origin: WO2020091602A1] A magnetic toy block with at least one outer surface provided with at least one projection and at least one recession. Each outer surface is provided with an imaginary axis that runs along the outer surface, wherein the imaginary axis extends perpendicular to a first edge of the outer surface. The imaginary axis divides the outer surface into a first part and a second part. Each of the at least one projection which is located in the first part is associated with a corresponding recession located in the first or the second part of the outer surface, and wherein one of the respective projection and the corresponding recession is located a distance from the imaginary axis, and the other one of the respective projection and the corresponding recession is located equidistantly from a respective edge.
