Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020074208A1] The invention relates to a roller board having an elongate board deck (1) and axles which are arranged at the front and rear ends of the deck, are provided with castors (2, 3) and are secured to the board deck (1) such that they can be steered, a steering movement being transferrable to the axles by the person standing on the board deck (1) by way of a lateral shifting of weight. The invention aims to create a roller board in the form of a skateboard, which enables improved steerability and problem-free operation. This is achieved in that substantially rigid booms (4, 5), one directed to the front and one direction to the rear, are provided at the front end and rear end of the board deck (1) respectively, a support arm (6, 7) pointing in the direction of the central axis of the board deck (1) is rigidly fastened to each boom (4, 5), which support arms are pivotable on the two sides about a pivot axis (19a) inclined in the direction of travel by 40° to 50°, preferably by approximately 45°, relative to the plane of the board deck (1), and the axle (17) of a single castor (2; 3) is mounted rotatably in or on each hub (8; 15), the pivot joint (9) being situated inside the castor (2; 3).
