According to the invention, at a lower region of the main body, a first pressure measuring device for measuring a first ambient pressure is arranged, and at an upper region of the main body, which is vertically spaced apart from the lower region, a second pressure measuring device for measuring a second ambient pressure is arranged. The invention also comprises a method for creating a substantially vertical hole in the ground using such a ground working device.
