[origin: WO2020100085A1] An electric heater (1) for heating an air flow in a household appliance, in particular a laundry dryer appliance, the electric heater (1 ) comprising: at least one heating element (2) adapted to be connected to an electric energy source to generate heat, a body (4) made of thermally conductive material provided with a plurality of fins (41), in which said at least one heating element (2) is arranged; wherein said at least one heating element (2) is in contact with the body (4), whereby the heat generated by the at least one heating element (2) can be transferred to the body (4), which is adapted to heat said air flow; a tube (51 ) for the water to pass, at least partially arranged in the body (4), whereby the heat generated by the at least one heating element (2) can be transmitted to the tube (51) through the body (4).
