[origin: WO2020104586A1] The invention relates to a closing system (1) for a door or hatch of a motor vehicle, having: a bearing piece (2) and a cylinder lock (3) situated on the bearing piece (2), the cylinder lock (3) having a cylinder bushing (4) and a cylinder core (5); and a locking clamp (6) which is held on the bearing piece (2), engages the cylinder bushing (4) from behind and has a holding lug (10) which is oriented parallel to the cylinder bushing (4), a fastening screw (9) passing through the holding lug (10), and the tip (13) of the screw lying in a receiving depression (14) in the cylinder bushing (4) in order to preload the locking clamp (6) against the cylinder bushing (4). According to the invention, a protective element (15) rests on an outer side of the bearing piece (2) and has at least one retaining lug (19) which is oriented parallel to the cylinder bushing (4), and the fastening screw (9) also passes through the retaining lug (19).
