Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020104112A1] Provided is a particulate sensor (12) comprising a support substrate (34), a corona-discharge electrode (40), a grounding electrode (42) and at least one measuring electrode (46), said electrodes (40, 46) being attached to the support substrate (34). The particulate sensor is characterised in that a portion of the support substrate (34) supporting the electrodes (40, 46) is covered by a hollow article (35), which is designed such that the portion of the carrier substrate (34) together with the hollow article (35) forms a cavity having at least one first opening (66) and at least one second opening (68), the first opening (66) lying closer to the corona-discharge electrode (40) than to the measuring electrode (46) and the second opening (68) lying closer to the measuring electrode (46) than to the corona-discharge electrode (40), and in that electronic functional components (58, 60, 62) of the particulate sensor (12) are provided on the support substrate (34).
