Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020104322A1] The invention relates to an electric machine (1), in particular for a vehicle. The machine comprises a rotor (3), which is rotatable about a rotation axis (D) by which an axial direction (A) of the electric machine (1) is defined, and a stator (2), which has electrically conductive stator windings (6). The machine (1) also comprises at least one cooling channel (10) through which a first coolant (K) can flow, preferably a plurality of such cooling channels (10), for cooling the stator windings (6). The stator (2) has stator teeth (8), which extend in the axial direction (A), are interspaced in a circumferential direction (U) of the rotor (3) and support the stator windings (6). Furthermore, at least one cooling channel (10) and at least one stator winding (6) are arranged in at least one gap (9), which is formed between two stator teeth (8, 8a, 8b) arranged adjacently in the circumferential direction (U). According to the invention, a plastics material (11) is arranged in the gap (9) in order to transfer heat from the stator winding (6) to the cooling channel (10).
