Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to a fitted sheet for covering the top and the side faces of a rectangular mattress, made of a rectangular piece of fabric, the fitted sheet comprising a head end and a foot end, the rectangular piece of fabric is sewn together at two corners at the foot end to form mattress corner enveloping pockets, the pockets comprise an elastic band and the rectangular piece of fabric at the head end is partially folded double in the direction of the foot end, the double folded portion being sewn together to form a mattress head enveloping pocket. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a fitted sheet for covering the top face and side faces of a rectangular mattress.
