[origin: WO2020109731A1] Disclosed is a device for filtering a liquid loaded with mineral and/or organic pollutants comprising a chamber delimited by walls, means for supplying the chamber with the liquid, at least one porous filter plate, the plate having two opposing main faces separated by an average thickness e, the plate comprising, at its centre, a through-hole with a wider width l between the two main faces, means for discharging the filtered liquid, in which the filter plate comprises a support made from a solid porous ceramic material and at least one porous barrier layer at least partially, and preferably completely, covering the surface portion of the support placed in contact with the liquid to be filtered, the material comprising silicon carbide, in which the porosity of the material, the porosity of the barrier layer, the thickness e of the filter plate and the difference between the longest length L of the filter plate and the widest width l of its central hole are selected so as to optimise the mechanical performances and the filtering performances.
