A closure (1), such as a screw cap, comprising: a first portion, having a tubular first wall segment (3), a helical fastening structure (15, 17) protruding inward from the first wall segment(3) and a retaining portion with a tubular retaining segment (4). The closure comprising further a second portion (2P) connected to each of the first wall segment (3) and the retaining segment (4), and that the second portion (2P) comprising a helical groove structure (5, 6) extending from the first wall segment (3) to the retaining segment (4), and that a part of the helical fastening structure (15, 17) protruding inward from the first wall segment (3) and a part of the helical groove structure (5, 6) of the second portion (2P) are arranged to overlap each other
