Abstract (en)
The present disclosure provides a communication method, apparatus, and system for a digital enhanced cordless telecommunications "DECT" base station (31). The method includes: determining, based on a communication connection request sent by a handset (32), whether a base station (31) satisfies a wideband "WB" voice communication requirement of the handset (32), and returning communication acknowledgment information (S1); and enabling the base station (31) to perform WB voice communication with the handset (32) if the communication acknowledgment information is a positive acknowledgment, or enabling the base station (31) to perform narrowband "NB" voice communication with the handset (32) if the communication acknowledgment information is a negative acknowledgment (S2). The present disclosure can implement WB voice communication between a DECT base station (31) and more than six handsets.
