[origin: WO2020115215A1] The invention relates to a method (1) for capturing at least one output parameter (AP) of an output unit (101) of a machine (100) by means of a separate, subsequently arranged capture apparatus (10), having the following steps: - subsequently fastening a housing (20) of a capture apparatus (10) in a fastening position (BP) by means of a fastening interface (30) of the housing (20), - capturing at least one output parameter (AP) of the output unit (101) of the machine (100) by means of a capture sensor (40) of the capture apparatus (10), - transmitting the at least one captured output parameter (AP) to a computer unit (50) of the capture apparatus (10), - evaluating the output parameter (AP) by means of the computer unit (50), - transmitting the at least one evaluated output parameter (AP) by means of an output module (60) of the computer unit (50).
