[origin: WO2020156689A1] The invention relates to a method for precharging a second network section (31i) with electrical energy from a first network section (31a) of a DC network (100). In an initial state (t0), an initial voltage (U2_t0) prevailing in the second network section (31i) is lower than a DC voltage (UDC) prevailing in the first network section (31a). At a first point in time (t), the two network sections (31a, 31i) are connected via a resistor current path (2) having a precharging resistor (6). At a subsequent second point in time (t2), as soon as the voltage (U2) in the second network section (31i) is between the initial voltage (U2_t0) and the DC voltage (UDC), the two network sections (31a, 31i) are connected via a semiconductor switch (1) which is situated parallel to the resistor current path (2) and is operated in a clocked mode or in a linear mode as a controllable resistor.
