[origin: WO2020121191A1] The device (15, 17) for finely adjusting the length of a band (1) is intended to be inserted between two elements of the band and comprises an outer portion (5) designed to be attached to one of the two elements, an inner portion designed to be attached to the other element and to slide into the outer portion parallel to the longitudinal direction of the band so as to adjust the length of the band, and abutment means (33a, 35a, 33b, 35b; 135b) designed to limit the travel of the inner portion relative to the outer portion, such that the band cannot extend beyond a maximum length, the outer portion further comprising a wall (29; 129) having an immobilisation hole (37; 137a, 137b) on the inner side thereof, and the inner portion comprising a pivoting lever (23; 123) which comprises a first end (27; 127) which is designed to be returned by a spring (25) towards the wall of the outer portion, so as to allow the first end of the lever to be engaged in the immobilisation hole in such a way as to immobilise the inner portion relative to the outer portion in a relative position giving the band a determined length less than the maximum length, the inner portion also comprising a control member (53; 153) designed to allow the lever to be controlled manually in order to space the folded end apart from the immobilisation hole, in such a way as to disengage the inner portion from the outer portion.
