The high-pressure valve (101) has a valve inlet (105), a valve outlet (107), a fluid connection (109), at least one first movable piston (111), and a plunger (113). The valve inlet (105) is connected to the valve outlet (107) via the fluid connection, the plunger (113) is arranged in the fluid connection, and the atomizing nozzle can be connected to the valve outlet (107). The plunger (113) can be moved between a closed position and an open position by means of the first movable piston, and an atomizing fluid reaches the valve outlet (107) and/or the atomizing nozzle from the valve inlet (105) through the fluid connection when the plunger (113) is in the open position, wherein the high pressure valve (101) has a rinsing device (115) for rinsing the high-pressure valve (101) and/or the atomizing nozzle with a rinsing fluid. The invention additionally relates to a method for rinsing a high-pressure valve (101).
