Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020120616A1] A flexible bag (2) comprises a first wall (21) and a second wall (22) superimposed on the first wall (21), the walls (21, 22) being connected together along longitudinal edges (53) by two bellows (24). According to a method for forming the bag (2), successively: - closing the bag (2) by a flap (25) originating from one of the walls (21) and held on the other wall (22) in order to form a closed end (20) of the bag (2), - grasping, at a predetermined distance from the closed end (20) of the bag (2), the first wall (21) by lower clamps (41) and the second wall (22) by upper clamps (51) and moving apart the walls in order to form a rib (27) on the bellows (24), - releasing of the second wall (22) by the upper clamps (51) and folding down (25), using a reel (6), the closed end (20) on the second wall (22), thus producing a bottom (29). The invention also concerns a machine implementing said method.
