Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020119936A1] The present disclosure relates to a multi-function connector (1) for a vehicle or a vehicle trailer or a plant or a machine or a device for connecting and disconnecting connection elements (20, 21) of lines (20a, 21a), in particular of electrical lines and/or hydraulic lines and/or pneumatic lines. The multi-function connector (1) has a first receiving element (2) for receiving at least one first connection element (20), a second receiving element (3) for receiving at least one second connection element (21) that can be connected to the first connection element (20), and a parallelogram mechanism (6). The parallelogram mechanism (6) is designed to move the second receiving element (3), relative to the first receiving element (2), substantially linearly along a connection direction of the first connection element (20) and of the second connection element (21) between an open state, in which the first connection element (20) and the second connection element (21) are disconnected from each another, and a closed state, in which the first connection element (20) and the second connection element (21) are connected together.
