[origin: WO2020119842A1] A method for generating manufacturing data for manufacturing spectacles for a person first involves at least one three-dimensional image of a head of the person being captured. Next, first input data are generated from the three-dimensional image, a control polygonal model for at least one element of the spectacles to be manufactured is provided and the control polygonal model is adapted on the basis of the first input data. Next, image data from a superposition of the adapted polygonal model with a view of the head of the person and manufacturing data generated from the adapted polygonal model are output. The control polygonal model is provided using a first density for a polygonal mesh and adapted. To output the image data, the control polygonal model is transformed by at least one first division step into a first refined polygonal model using a second density for the polygonal mesh, the second density being higher than the first density. To output the manufacturing data, the control polygonal model is transformed by at least one second division step into a second refined polygonal model using a third density for the polygonal mesh, the third density being identical to or higher than the second density.
