[origin: WO2020125835A1] The invention relates to a method for producing inductively heatable tobacco products (1), wherein the method comprises the following steps: - providing a tobacco product (1); - providing a susceptor segment (2), wherein the susceptor segment (2) has a longitudinal axis (LA) and a cross section (QS) arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis; - increasing the axial area moment of inertia of the cross section (QS) of the susceptor segment (2), in particular by changing the shape of the cross section, preferably by means of a stamping or rolling process; - positioning the susceptor segment (2) in the tobacco product (1) by moving the susceptor segment (2) and the tobacco product (1) relative to one another, as a result of which the susceptor segment (2) is inserted into the tobacco product (1).
