[origin: WO2020127562A1] The present invention relates to a gripping apparatus (100) for receiving, conveying and dispensing a product (P), the gripping apparatus (100) comprising: a main structure (110) which can be releasably and preferably non-destructively attached to a handling device (R) by means of a coupling element (112); at least two gripping elements (120) which each have at least one bottom surface (122) and at least one top surface (124), the top surfaces (124) of the gripping elements (120) facing towards the coupling element (112) and the bottom surfaces (122) of the gripping elements (120) facing away from the coupling element (112); at least one drive means (13) for reversibly moving the gripping elements (120) between a first position, in which the gripping elements (120) can be positioned on opposing sides of the product (P) to be received, and a second position, in which the gripping elements (120) grip the product (P) to be received; and a stop plate (140), which rests at least approximately on the top surfaces (124) of the gripping elements (120).
