[origin: WO2020126925A1] The present invention relates to a closure, consisting of a screw cap (10) and a guarantee strip (3), wherein the screw cap (10) has a cylindrical cap lateral portion (2) with a central axis (50) and an inner thread (8), and the guarantee strip (3) is connected to the lower edge of the cap lateral portion around the circumference of the lower end of the cap lateral portion (2) and at least partially along at least one easily tearable line of weakness (14). To increase the stability of the guarantee strip (3), according to the invention the lower edge of the guarantee strip (3), below the at least one easily tearable line of weakness (14), is connected integrally via a transition section (9) to a circumferential stabilisation strip (4) extending axially downwards, the stabilisation strip having a larger inner diameter than the guarantee strip (3).
