Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020126577A1] The invention relates to a system having a material belt (1), a surface inspection system (4), a marking unit (3), a reading device (9), a database (12), and a visualization device (2), wherein the marking unit (3) is configured to apply position markers (5) onto the material belt (1) in order to mark a position on the material belt (1), and the surface inspection system (4) is configured to detect defects (6) of the material belt (1) and the position thereof. The database (12) is configured to store and reproduce data on the defects (6) detected by the surface inspection system (4) and the position thereof, and the reading device (9) is configured to read the position markers (5). The visualization device (2) is configured to assign position markers (5) read by the reading device (9) to data on defects (6) from the database (12), and the visualization device (2) is configured to mark defects (6) using optical overlay. The invention additionally relates to a method for operating the system.
