[origin: CA3124146A1] The invention relates to a fire- or smoke alarm (10) comprising a detection assembly (16) arranged inside an alarm housing (12) that has at least one alarm-housing cover (14), wherein the detection assembly comprises at least one circuit board (18) and the circuit board has at least one opening, wherein, on an inner face, the alarm-housing cover has a plurality of housing fins (32) pointing radially towards an alarm dome (34), wherein a diameter of the opening (60) is greater than a diameter of the alarm dome and the circuit board is arranged such that the boundary line of the opening of the circuit board is, for example, concentric with the alarm dome of the alarm-housing cover.
