[origin: WO2020128238A1] A method and a device for acquiring an identifier of a data server (22) able to deliver content to a terminal (100), the method being executed by the terminal (100), which transmits, to a resolution server (50) of a communication architecture, a message requesting to obtain an identifier of the data server (22) in the second domain (40). This request message triggers the reception, from the resolution server (50), of an information message comprising the identifier of the data server (22) in a first domain (20). This message furthermore comprises a delegation chain, which consists of a sequence of redirections from the second domain (40) to the first domain (20).
