An adjustment signal is detected and processed by a first controller (101) on a primary side, and the processed adjustment signal is transmitted to a second controller (102) on a secondary side via an isolator (103). Thus, the quality of the adjustment signal is ensured in the transmission, and the output state of the power supply may be adjusted accurately by the second controller (102) on the secondary side. Furthermore, no additional circuit for translating and encoding or decoding signals is needed.
