Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020141015A1] The invention relates to a refrigerant compressor (10) having at least one at least partially hollow cylindrical compressor housing (14), which has a center axis extending in an axial direction and which delimits a compressor interior (62), and at least one piston (12), which is arranged in a cylinder so as to be movable back and forth and which is driven by an electric motor (16), wherein the compressor (10) has oil sump lubrication, wherein the oil sump (20) in the compressor (10), when this is arranged in an operating position, extends from a housing bottom side (22) to, at most, a predetermined maximum oil fill level (24), wherein the operating position is a position of the compressor (10) in which the center axis of the compressor (10) extends in a horizontal direction or in a direction inclined or projecting by up to 45° relative to the horizontal, wherein the compressor (10) has a pressure lubrication having a lubricant delivery means, wherein the lubricant delivery means is connected to the oil sump (20) and is provided to suck in lubricant from the oil sump (20), the compressor (10) having a pulsation damper (58) arranged within the compressor housing (14), the pulsation damper (58) being arranged completely outside of the oil sump (20) when the compressor (10) is in the operating position.
