In the plugged state, at least one connecting element of the plug is adapted to engage with a corresponding complementarily formed groove of the socket, and the inner side of the hollow body is adapted to engage with a positioning post of the socket. The plug-in connection device is used, for example, in the training platform having a plate or surface in which one or more sockets are integrated. The training platform includes at least one plug handle having the plug for insertion into the at least one socket. A user can reliably, but still detachably fix the plug-in handle in the socket in different orientations.
