[origin: WO2020152405A1] The invention relates to a method for managing the lighting of a motor vehicle capable of operating in an autonomous driving mode, hereinafter referred to as the host vehicle (1), the method comprising the steps consisting in: - determining, when the lights of the host vehicle (1) are activated, if the host vehicle (1) is in an autonomous driving mode; - reducing the intensity of the lighting to a threshold value, the threshold value being lower than the normal lighting intensity provided when the vehicle is driven manually.
