[origin: WO2020151892A1] The invention relates to a belt conveyor having at least one drum. The drum (7) comprises a drum shaft (20) and a drum body, the drum body comprising a drum shell and drum bases. The drum shaft is supported on either side by two bearings (21). A force-measuring device and/or an acceleration sensor is arranged on the drum shaft (20) on either side. The sensors arranged on either side are preferably arranged between the drum body (22) and the bearings (21) outside of the drum body (22). The sensor signals can be wirelessly transmitted by means of a telecommunication device (23) assigned to the sensors.
