Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020156742A1] The invention relates to a strand-guiding roller (1) of a strand guide for guiding a cast metal strand, comprising at least one first and one second partial roller (2, 3) arranged next to one another so as to be axially flush, wherein a bearing (4) for supporting the two partial rollers (2, 3) is arranged between the two partial rollers (2, 3) and wherein the partial rollers (2, 3) consist of a first material. In order to allow simple assembly and disassembly of the arrangement and to use the optimal materials for the partial rollers and the bearing journals, according to the invention a roller journal (6) is fastened in the axial end (5) of the first partial roller (2), which roller journal consists of a second material which is different from the first material, wherein the roller journal (6) passes through the bearing (4) and the end (7) of said roller journal remote from the first partial roller (2) extends into a hole (8) in the second partial roller (3), in order to support said second partial roller.
