Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020156759A1] The invention relates to an identification document (1) having a personalisation area (3) for accommodating biometric image information (5). The personalisation area (3) comprises a recording layer (11) for image information, as well as a lens assembly (20). The biometric image information (5) is viewed through the lens assembly (20). The biometric image information (5) contains basic information (12) consisting of a basic image (15) and a derivative image (16) derived from the basic image (15). The derivative image (16) shows or emphasises a component of the basic image (15) that is essential for recognition. At a first viewing angle (α1), it is the basic image (15) which is predominantly recognisable, whereas at a second viewing angle (α2), it is the derivative image (16), and therefore, when the combined image information from basic image (15) and derivative image (16) is perceived, a three-dimensional overall impression is produced.
