Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020161091A1] The invention relates to a device (200, 300) and a method (1000) for releasing a stressing strand, in particular a stressing strand (400) of a prestressed tower, preferably a prestressed concrete tower (102) of a wind turbine (100). The invention also relates to a method for dismantling a prestressed tower and to the use of a device (200, 300). The device (200, 300) comprises: a first anchoring unit (210, 310) having a first stressing strand receptacle (213, 313) for a first portion of the stressing strand (400); a second anchoring unit (220, 320) having a second stressing strand receptacle (223, 323) for a second portion of the stressing strand (400); and a lifting unit (240, 340) which is designed to modify a distance (A1, A2) between the first and second anchoring unit (210, 220, 310, 320).
