[origin: WO2020207677A1] The present invention relates to an actuation gear mechanism for raising and lowering a lift and slide element, for example a lift and slide door or a lift and slide window, which element can be displaced along a guide rail and can be transferred from a lowered position into a raised position. The actuation gear mechanism comprises an input shaft rotatably mounted in a gearbox housing, which shaft can be rotated about an axis by means of an actuation lever between a locked position that corresponds to the lowered position of the lift and slide element, and an unlocked position that corresponds to the raised position of the lift and slide element, wherein the input shaft is drivingly coupled via a connecting rod to a lifting element for raising and lowering the lift and slide element. According to the invention, the actuation gear mechanism also comprises a spring catch disposed in the gearbox, using which catch the input shaft is secured in its locked position.
