Un aspect de l'invention concerne un procédé d'accès à un fichier par une pluralité de clients dans un système de fichiers distribués, le fichier étant répliqué sur au moins un autre serveur, le procédé comprenant les étapes de :- Réception, par un dispositif de gestion d'accès, d'une requête d'accès à la partie du fichier envoyée par un premier client de la pluralité de clients,- Sélection d'un premier serveur en fonction d'au moins un paramètre,- Autorisation de l'accès du premier client au fichier stocké par le premier serveur- Réception, après l'autorisation, d'une requête d'accès au même fichier envoyée par un deuxième client, le deuxième client étant différent du premier client,- Sélection d'un deuxième serveur en fonction du paramètre, le deuxième serveur étant différent du premier serveur,- Autorisation de l'accès du deuxième client au fichier stocké par le deuxième serveur.
