[origin: EP3923383A1] Provided is a method for fabricating a magnesium-containing electrode by a plating method. In the fabrication method of the present invention, a plating solution used in the plating method contains a solvent containing an ether and the solvent contains a first magnesium salt having a disilazide structure represented by general formula (R<sub>3</sub>Si)<sub>2</sub>N (in the formula, R is a hydrocarbon group having 1 or more and 10 or less carbon atoms) and a second magnesium salt that does not have a disilazide structure.
