Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckverbinder (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1<sup>IV</sup>, 1<sup>V</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VIII</sup>), im Wesentlichen bestehend aus einem Isolierkörper (2, 2') und zumindest einem Kontaktelement (4, 4', 4", 4"', 4<sup>IV</sup>, 4<sup>V</sup>, 4<sup>VII</sup>, 4<sup>VII</sup>), welches direkt im Isolierkörper (2, 2') befestigt ist, wobei der Isolierkörper (2, 2') direkt das Steckverbindergehäuse des Steckverbinders (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1<sup>IV</sup>, 1<sup>V</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VIII</sup>) bildet. Der Steckverbinder (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1<sup>IV</sup>, 1<sup>V</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VIII</sup>) ist besonders einfach aufgebaut und kann somit schnell konfektioniert werden. Außerdem ist der Steckverbinder (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1<sup>IV</sup>, 1<sup>V</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VII</sup>, 1<sup>VIII</sup>) sehr robust ausgeführt und für den industriellen Einsatz, insbesondere in rauen Umgebungen, geeignet.
