Die Erfindung betrifft einen Steckverbinder (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1^IV, 1^V, 1^VII, 1^VII, 1^VIII), im Wesentlichen bestehend aus einem Isolierkörper (2, 2') und zumindest einem Kontaktelement (4, 4', 4", 4"', 4^IV, 4^V, 4^VII, 4^VII), welches direkt im Isolierkörper (2, 2') befestigt ist, wobei der Isolierkörper (2, 2') direkt das Steckverbindergehäuse des Steckverbinders (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1^IV, 1^V, 1^VII, 1^VII, 1^VIII) bildet. Der Steckverbinder (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1^IV, 1^V, 1^VII, 1^VII, 1^VIII) ist besonders einfach aufgebaut und kann somit schnell konfektioniert werden. Außerdem ist der Steckverbinder (1, 1', 1", 1"', 1^IV, 1^V, 1^VII, 1^VII, 1^VIII) sehr robust ausgeführt und für den industriellen Einsatz, insbesondere in rauen Umgebungen, geeignet.
