Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020164965A1] The invention relates to a lift system (10) comprising a lift car (14, 16), which can be (12) moved in a lift shaft (12), a suspension means (26) running in the lift shaft (12), a drive machine (34) associated with the suspension means (26) and an actuatable coupling device arranged on the lift car (14, 16). The suspension means (26) has a coupling element (44) to/from which the coupling device can be coupled by adopting a coupled position and decoupled by adopting a decoupled position, whereby a drive connection between the lift car (14, 16) and the suspension means (26) can be produced and released. According to the invention, the lift system comprises a safety device which can adopt a securing position and a release position, and which, in the securing position, secures the coupling device in the coupled position against moving out of the coupled position.
