Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020169399A1] The invention relates to a triggering system (200) for a safety catch apparatus (230) which can be attached to a counterweight (125) or to an elevator car (120), which counterweight is connected to the elevator car by means of a supporting means guided by a drive sheave coupled to a drive and is guided in a shaft. A stationary clamping means (241) which can be clamped in the shaft, an actuating device (210) by means of which a force can be exerted on the clamping means (241), as required, in the longitudinal direction of the clamping means, and a coupling device (220) by means of which the clamping means (241) and the safety catch apparatus (230) can be coupled together such that the safety catch device (230) can be triggered when the force is exerted on the clamping means (241), are provided. The invention also relates to an elevator system having such a triggering system (200) and a method for operating an elevator system.
