[origin: WO2020200565A1] The invention relates to a current interrupter system comprising a series arrangement of at least two interrupter units (4, 6), wherein at least one interrupter unit (4, 6) from amongst said interrupter units is a vacuum tube, and the at least two interrupter units (4, 6) are mechanically connected to a drive system (8), wherein the drive system (8) comprises a drive assembly (9). The invention is distinguished in that the drive system further has a drive shaft which, as a crank shaft (10), is equipped with at least two cranks (12, 14), wherein the at least two cranks (12, 14) have two crank strokes (16, 18) of different magnitudes.
