[origin: WO2020177822A1] The present invention relates to a tableted chewing gum composition for oral administration of cannabinoids, the composition comprising water-soluble chewing gum ingredients and water-insoluble gum base located in a plurality of particles, wherein the chewing gum composition comprises one or more cannabinoids, and wherein the chewing gum composition generates saliva and delivers more than 20% by weight of the one or more cannabinoids to the oral mucosa during the first 5 minutes of chewing.
