[origin: WO2020173613A1] A method and a device (1) for packaging articles by means of printed packaging blanks (2) are disclosed. In the method, a plurality of packaging blanks is first positioned in a magazine (4) and subsequently removed from the magazine (4). Thereafter, articles are brought together with the packaging blanks (2) removed from the magazine (4) such that each packaging blank (2) in question thereby forms a packaging or a component of a packaging for at least one article. Furthermore, the packaging blanks (2) are printed on, the printing on a packaging blank (2) occurring after the packaging blank has been positioned in the magazine (4) and before the packaging blank is brought together with the at least one article in question. The device (1) can be operated in a corresponding manner.
