Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2020172735A1] A modular tent frame system comprises a number of folding frame elements which permit the shelter to be rapidly deployed in extreme environmental conditions. Telescopically sliding legs each comprise an inner leg having a plurality of slots adapted to receive a spring-loaded latch supported on an outer leg; and the outer leg. The tent frame is characterized in that it comprises a plurality of arch brackets located around a periphery thereof for releasably receiving and securing the outer leg. The telescopically sliding legs permit the tent frame to be unfolded, and the tent fabric attached to the frame; the frame is on the ground and the tent can then be raised by sliding the outer leg elements up the inner leg elements to thereby raise the tent to the desired height, even in high winds.
