Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2020174075A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a cast metal part (15), in which method said part is individually labeled, the cast metal part (15) being produced in a casting process (2) and thereafter being subjected to a thermal treatment (3). Continuous labeling of a cast metal part of this type from the primary shaping process until use, even beyond a potential thermal treatment step, can be made possible by producing an individual initial label (18, 19, 20, 21b, 22) in the cast metal part or transferring said label into the cast metal part (15) before the thermal treatment (3) and arranging an RFID element (22e) on the cast metal part, in particular in a cut-out (16) in the cast metal part, after the thermal treatment (3), the identity of which element is linked to the initial label (18, 19, 20, 21b, 22).
