[origin: WO2020178392A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for depositing fruit or vegetables on a plate (11) comprising an upper face (13) having a plurality of recessed cells which are adapted to be able to each receive a single object, wherein two objects placed in two adjacent alveolate cells juxtaposed in a same plane are capable of coming laterally into contact with each other. During any step of depositing of at least one object into at least one receiving cell (14) adjacent to at least one solid cell already containing another object, the upper face (13) of the plate has an upward envelope curvature adapted to avoid any contact between the objects.
