[origin: WO2020178708A1] The present invention relates to a week-number display mechanism intended to equip a timepiece movement and comprising a weeks star (1) comprising 52 or 53 teeth, a weeks lever (2) comprising a flexible finger (3) intended to engage with the toothset of the weeks star (1) upon actuation of said lever (2) by a driving wheel (5), said driving wheel (5) being designed to be driven by one step per day by the timepiece movement and to actuate the weeks lever (2) once every seven days upon passing from the last day of the week to the first. According to the invention, the driving wheel is a driving star (5) comprising seven teeth, of which six are said to be dummy teeth (51) designed not to engage with the weeks lever (2) and one tooth is a driving tooth (52) designed to actuate said lever (2) once a week upon passing from the last day of the week to the first.
