[origin: WO2020187756A1] The invention relates to a device for removing hot-melt adhesive from a rotating vertical roller (1), said device having: a hollow, preferably hollow cylindrical scraper (2), characterized in that the scraper (2) has an opening (6) along the longitudinal axis on its circumferential face, at which opening a radially outwardly protruding strike plate (3) is situated, wherein the strike plate (3) is arranged such that it can be brought into a position for removing the adhesive from the roller (1) and can convey the removed adhesive to the circumferential inner side of the scraper (2).
