[origin: WO2020186017A1] A rosin press (100) system for extracting rosin (oil) from plant material. The rosin press system includes a male plate (102) with a male protrusion (103) and a female plate (104) formed to matingly receive the male protrusion (103, 608). The plates (102, 104) can be heated, such that when plant material is pressed between them, rosin is extracted from the plant material and allowed to drain from a recess or drain hole (614) positioned at the middle of the female plate (104).
