[origin: WO2020187632A1] The invention relates to a packet (10) for products in the cigarette industry, said packet comprising a casing (13) which surrounds, preferably on all sides, a group (12) of products in the cigarette industry as packet contents, wherein the casing (13) is made from a packaging material, and wherein folding tabs of the packaging material are connected to one another by seams (23). According to the invention, preferably all seams (23) are formed by crimping superimposed folding tabs of the packaging material in the overlapping areas of the tabs on top of each other. The invention further relates to corresponding devices and to a method for producing said type of packets.
