[origin: CA3133140A1] The present invention relates to a hard flooring panel with a top side and a bottom side and side edges along the panel sides, for laying in a floating manner to form a flooring panel composite, at least two flooring panels being joined together in each case, the opposing side edges being provided with tongue-and-groove profiles, a tongue and a joining face being provided in a first side edge, and a groove and a joining face being provided in a second, opposite side edge, the tongue of the first side edge having an upper side and a lower side; wherein a protrusion having a contact face is provided on the lower side of the tongue; wherein the joining face of the first side edge runs from the top side of the flooring panel towards the upper tongue side, and the joining face is chamfered; wherein the groove in the second side edge has a top side and a bottom side, the top side of the groove being delimited by an upper lip, and the bottom side of the groove being delimited by a lower lip; wherein a cut-out having a contact face is provided in the lower lip of the groove; wherein the joining face of the second side edge runs from the top side of the flooring panel along the upper lip, and the joining face is chamfered; wherein, when at least two flooring panels are joined together, the protrusion of the tongue engages in the cut-out in the lower lip of the groove so that the contact faces of the protrusion of the tongue and of the cut-out in the lower lip of the groove exert a clamping force on each other; and wherein, when the chamfered joining faces of the first side edge of the tongue profile and the chamfered joining face of the second side edge of the groove profile bear against each other in the joined together state of at least two flooring panels, a linear pressure is produced along the chamfered joining faces of the side edges of the tongue profile and of the groove profile.
